The tie is designed to be light and flexible. Though made of wood, our ties are comparable to those made of cloth. At first glance there is no difference; the burls and the drawings in particular can be mistaken for silk. Our matte finish accentuates this impression while preserving the natural shades of each essence.

The tie's knot, whose shape is softened to eliminate any discomfort, features a neckband adjustable at will. It too attracts lots of attention. The length of a tie is 49 cm (19 inches) and its weight only 60 grams (2oz). Although remarkably lightweight, our ties are not fragile.

The bow tie is aerial, light as air at only 12 grams (less than an once). The bow tie also has an adjustable neckband. The material inspires unexpected shapes (leaf, violin...)

The belt is a totally new concept: a special treatment of the wood allows us to sew it and maintain complete flexibility.

Our accessories can be worn like any other made of more conventional materials.

High productivity is not what guides us. The satisfaction of our customers is our only goal.

Therefore, each step is undertaken with meticulous care and given the time needed as we aim for perfection. The woods, the tints, the inks, the varnishes, all the materials we use are of premium quality. Nothing is left to chance.

The burls*, the brambles*, the linear grain woods*, all are rigorously selected. The techniques of fabrication are those of traditional secular woodworking; for the burls* and brambles*, those of marquetry

The drawings or thematic motifs are made one by one. They are not transfers or silkscreens. They are original works painted unto sycamore wood. The finished tie retains its perfectly smooth surface.

Mindful of the global environment, most of the woods we use are species indigenous* to Europe and whose production is regulated and renewable. We do not use any woods of dubious origin.

100% made in France. All our products are made at our workshop in Burgundy.

The delicate shades and the subtle patterns of the natural woods go surprisingly well with clothing of all colours. Each tie, each bow tie, each belt is naturally unique. We offer a large selection of fine woods.

  • For the painted ties, you can choose your own drawings, themes, colors, which we will make according to your wishes. We welcome your suggestions.
  • The discreet originality of our ties, the novel shapes of the bow ties (leaf, violin, half-moon) and the surprising execution of the belts express your individuality.
  • The ties and bow ties are stain-proof (grease, alcohol, ink...) Just wipe with a soft and clean cloth dampened with a bit of water or an alcohol-based solution (like a glass cleaner).
  • A tiny drop of oil (like sweet almond oil) rubbed in will suffice should the wood come to look dry or faded.

Indigenous species: a species of tree living naturally in the area of production.

Burl: a knotty outgrowth from certain trees with a convoluted, complex grain; in great demand in woodworking, particularly in marquetry (ex: elm burl). It is found on the trunk or on the base of the tree. Has a high concentration of pigmentation.

Bramble: a gnarly tangle of fibers in the vein of certain woods (ex: walnut bramble). It is found at the base and fork of the trunk and shows sinewy, lustrous fibers and high pigmentation.

Pearled of speckled: a lustrous reflection, mother of pearl aspect (ex: pearled/speckled maple).

Linear grain wood: wood whose straight fibers show few or no knots.

Matte finish: a surface finish showing no or little shine or reflection.
