Origin: North america, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas
Note: Known to the Osage Native Americans for its strength, durability and flexibility, it was used to make bows and clubs. With the latex they made face paint and dye. Early French settlers called it bois darc or bow wood and also used it to make hubs and rims for their wagons. The one we offer comes from the Bois de Vincennes - Paris.
